My customers all seem to want

The strangest sort of things

Like steak that’s made from zucchini

Or soup of turtle wings

Orders come specifically

For ice-cream topped with kale

Plus the ever-popular request—

Sandwich of lobster tail

Sure, I like creative thought

When people come to sup

But my customers’ avant-garde tastes

I really can’t keep up
